Text Box: Bluegrass Classics Dog Show

Lexington, KY (Fayette County)





Dogs from across the country will return to the Kentucky Horse Park for the Bluegrass Classic Dog Show, August 28 –September 1, 2008.  Sanctioned by the American Kennel Club and hosted by the Lexington, Northern Kentucky, Mid-Kentucky Kennel Clubs, the show will feature over 150 different dog breeds from all over the world over the course of four days.
 
       Visitors will have the opportunity to see and learn about popular     
       breeds as well as dog breeds not often seen in Central Kentucky.

 We will also conduct dog show tours through-out the day to help spectators understand the classes, ring procedure, championship point system, dog show etiquette, and promote the sport of purebred dogs.
