Most recently, she managed to convince an all-breed club, the Mid-Kentucky Kennel Club, to sponsor a scent hound hunt test, the first all-breed club to do so.” Way to go Jo Ann! Text Box: "Books and Best Friends Program." Hunter, a red male Doberman that Rachel and Jeremy McClister bred and raised until he was about 8 months old is now owned by Kelley Olson. She takes Hunter to the Scott County Public Library for their "Books and Best Friends Program." The program is for children to get them interested in reading as well as building self confidence. Basically a dog and handler come in and a child takes a book and reads it to the dog. As you can see in the picture Hunter enjoys it allot. This is an awesome program and might be something other club members could check into doing in our communities. Text Box: Oklahoma Chip “Okie” Jenna Meredith won her Jr. Handling Class, while showing at the American Stock Dog Show at the Super Dog Sports Center in Simpsonville, KY, on Oct 9-10, 2010.
